The final numbers are in…93,137 people packed the Rose Bowl and witnessed an impressive effort by the Galaxy against global powerhouse FC Barcelona making this “the largest soccer crowd in the United States since the 1994 World Cup Final (94,194)” according to mlsnet.com.
The highlight of the game came just before the half when, in true David Beckham fashion, he bent one over the Barcelona line on a free kick to tie the game 1-1.

That was an amazingly superb free kick by David Beckham. Hopefully, US soccer will get overly better than it was a few years ago.
